I graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2011 with a Bachelors in Business. I then went on to get my Masters in Elementary Education from the University of Montevallo. I graduated from Montevallo in 2013.

Upon graduation I was blessed to get on the substitute list in St. Clair and Jefferson County. What I enjoyed most about subbing was the fact I got to work with every grade level. It was interesting to teach various grade levels, and see what they were learning about. After a few months of subbing, I was asked to take a long-term leave for a first grade teacher at Clay Elementary. I enjoyed every minute of it. I was hired at Margaret Elementary School in 2013 where I taught 3rd grade for two years. I am currently teaching second grade at Springville Elementary School.

My name is Alisha Johnson and I started teaching at SES in 2016. I graduated from Springville High School and I live in Springville. I am a graduate from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. While at UAB I played softball where I was a pitcher. I attended the University of Montevallo to receive my Masters in Elementary Education. While attending Montevallo I married my high school sweetheart, Eric! We now have a beautiful little girl named Caroline. I am extremely excited to see what this school year brings! I look forward to our time together!
